"Omega fish oil with high EPA and DHA."
—Barbara Rost
"I use Newton Homeopathics Rhumatic Joint Care."
—Rebecca Mick
"I don't take supplements, however, I use Pain-a-trate from Melaleuca, and it's wonderful. I use it before I go to bed, then if I wake up in pain, I put on some more."
—Deb Geno
"I take a probiotic, levothyroxine, one Metabolic Defense Vitamin E (1,000 IU), vitamin D3 (2,000 IU), omega capsule (1,200 mg), Rejuvetol, collagen, hyaluronic acid, inositol, glucosamine and chondroitin, two tablets of magnesium (250 mg) and calcium (500 mg), and a multivitamin and mineral supplement. I also take Proxine ES. I take a long walk every day with my dog after taking Rejuvetol and have no pain walking. Late afternoon, I may need two more Rejuvetol. I am 82 years old and feel pretty good. I see no need to add or exchange anything I am taking for anything else."
—Dorothy
"I take David Williams, MD, Joint Advantage Gold for the painful lack of cartilage in my knees. It has kept me walking and pain free for three years now. I ran out once for about seven days and could not move my knees at all—my legs swung stick-like from my hips, ad it was incredibly, nauseatingly painful. Two days after a new supply arrived, I was fine."
—Ruan Frenette
"I have found that Joint Health Complex works miracles for joint pain. It contains 1,500 mg of glucosamine, cat's claw, and trace elements that support joint lubrication and help build cartilage. After three days of usage, I started to feel the pain receding from my hip, wrists, fingers, and toes. After a week, I no longer had pain. When I take this regularly, I have no problems, but if I forget to take it for several days, the pain returns."
—Anonymous
"I have been taking glucosamine for a year. I still get joint pains, but I have to think it would be worse if I weren't taking it."
—Joyce Stirling
"I use a natural product called Curamin, derived from curcamin—a derivative of turmeric. It also has boswellia, which helps with inflamation, and it has been very effective for arthritis in my feet and knees. I don't take any other pain meds."
—Kathy
"I have arthritis through most of my body due to an accident that I had when I was 18, almost 40 years ago. I take a heaping teaspoon of flaxseed in the morning and evening, as well as 4,000 mg flaxseed oil in the morning and right before bed. I also take 1,600 IU of vitamin E, morning and night. (This nighttime regimen also keeps my legs from being restless.) I take two ginger capsules and two Ester-C tablets every day, as well. This combination keeps me basically free from pain. I only take a pain reliever once in a blue moon if the humidity levels are way high. I hope this info helps someone."
—Cher
"I removed all grains from my diet and take Inflam-eez from Northern Herb and Spice."
